I found a FABULOUS site with a glossary that contains 700 terms used in cross stitch, embroidery, goldwork, tapestry, and blackwork. There are diagrams that can be enlarged that will show ya how to make the stitches, etc...So Helpful!!!!
At Arts And Designs, they cover everything from what cloth to use, thread, etc....so informative!!
I'm makin' SLOW progress on my new stuff for the July 1st deadline for Early Work Mercantile....It's startin' to look like I'll be doin' good to get ONE thing finished...geez, I don't know what's up with me these days...I seem to be all excited about doin' somethun and then I lose interest VERY quickly....
Guess I've always been somewhat like that tho....I look back at all the different types of stuff I've dabbled in and I never tend to stay with any one thing for long....maybe at my age I should be workin' faster instead of slower...there's still so much out there I want to try....at this speed I'll never have time.
I'm drawn to so many different styles...most folks think I only like funky primitive folk~arty stuff...actually I'm a lover of so many styles....I never want to be limited to what I make or do.
I best get back to stitchin'....I really like what I'm seein' so far!!!!
